Respect people and the culture
Debate music and ideas without degrading people. No hate, harassment, slurs used to attack, unwanted sexual conduct, threats, doxxing or coordinated pile-ons. Respect hip-hop history, communities and cultural contributors.
Credit collaborators
Name producers, writers, performers, engineers, photographers and sample sources when required. Use split sheets and approval tools before release. Do not claim another creator’s work, identity, audience or achievements.
Constructive feedback and battles
Critique the work, not a person’s protected traits or private life. Battles may be competitive and expressive, but credible threats, targeted harassment, non-consensual private information and incitement are prohibited.
Promotion and authenticity
Use designated promotion tools. Disclose sponsorships and material relationships. Do not spam messages, forums or comments, manipulate rankings, or make deceptive earnings or opportunity claims.
Reporting and appeals
Use reporting tools for content or conduct that violates policy. Do not weaponize false reports. Moderation decisions may be appealed through support with relevant context and evidence.
